Shooting Bands
Rat started shooting bands in the late 90's for a public access show because it was easier than writing material. Eventually standing directly in front of speakers while dancing patrons spilled drinks on his gear became a soothing coping skill.
With a minimalist editing style and the ability to transition from shot to shot in the most fluid of styles Rat developed an intrusive style of videography that the majority of his subjects didn't really mind so much, mainly because they actually get to see the footage within a couple days.
